Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scope 1: Expense and Budget Controlling:
- Conduct the budgeting process with Finance team for the new financial year to design Information Technology Department overall budget plan including key Business-As-Usual Activities (Maintenance Services, Meeting & Conference, Printing & Supplies, Entertainment…) and key projects.
- Ensure post-implementation cost reviews are performed for deployed projects.
- Support, advice and assistance to people/or sections across the IT Department managing their own projects related IT expenses.
- Review all expense proposals for IT projects in compliance with Prudential Corporate Asia policy
Scope 2: Other tasks assigned by upper level management:
- Monthly, collecting timesheet from IT department to cross check with vendors and proceed payment to vendor.
- Monthly, collecting DP Report from IT department and other related departments and submit to Regional PCA.
- Preparing the supporting document for payment to vendor according to PVA’s policy
- File management and keep track the original IT document such as contract, certificate of acceptance, hand-over minutes.
- Update and keep track on-going IT maintenance services
- Interacting with internal IT and external of IT function with regards to IT aspects and other administration tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics Field
- Good at English
- Insurance industry experience and IT knowledge is a plus.
- Having basic knowledge in accounting, project management skills and techniques and procure-to-pay process.
- Microsoft Excel skills is a must
- Good at documenting process
- Good communication and influencing skills
