Job Description
Job Scope: will be responsible for managing the client’s product portfolio pricing, promotions, discounts, and related seller activities on ecommerce, expected to work with (among others) the client’s ecommerce channel sales team, brand/marketing teams as well as relevant team members to build an integrated view of the portfolio pricing and promotions execution model for the client’s ecomm business in the short and long term. In addition, they also require managing product catalogue, product content (i.e. images, A+ content etc.), as well as reviewing, adapting, loading, and analyzing the performance of the content used by clients across their commerce platforms. The role will involve management and maintenance of digital materials including client’s store banners and promotional campaigns.
The Store Operation Consultant will also need to work with relevant stakeholders both within the project team and from the client side to define and review the right KPIs for measuring the performance of the various pricing & promotion interventions (viz. price discounts, consumer vouchers etc.)
Responsibilites:
- Deploy & manage the client’s online portfolio pricing & promotions on an ongoing basis.
- Liaise with clients directly and the relevant client stakeholders to create periodic (monthly/quarterly/half-yearly etc. as applicable) deployment plans for pricing, promotions and other seller campaigns for the ecommerce business.
- Perform competitive benchmarking and identify best in class interventions that can be replicated for the client to drive sales growth.
- Establish KPIs for measuring the performance of the pricing and promotions plans, and work with the analytics team to review periodic reports and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Implementation of product and promotional content from the clients’ asset libraries.
- Ensures translation of assets for the needs of local markets.
- Translating content analytics and performance reports into meaningful recommendations to optimize site and app content “on-the-fly”.
- Works with local market teams to prioritize requirements for site and promotional content.
- Assess and act on content performance reports.
- Proactively highlighting and assessing key finding from campaign, content, and customer service reports.
- Work closely with campaign strategy, content management and customer service teams to integrate findings into future actions and ways of working.
- Manage day-to-day customer service queries and complain from customers and work closely with brands and external partners on brands/product information e.g. product ingredients, expiry date, etc.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong content analytic skills.
- Experience working with content management systems and online platforms.
- Working knowledge of commerce platform and content uploading.
- At a minimum, a bachelors degree in business management or quantitative/technical streams.
- Minimum 3+ yrs of experience, preferably in digital commerce, e-commerce, digital sales or offline sales & marketing.
- Background in managing pricing, promotions or similar trade/marketing activities for consumer facing firms (offline or online) and/or experience on projects with similar roles.
- Experience in managing CPA ads (Facebook, Google, etc.).
- Exceptionally strong with numbers and data.
- Needs to be proficient with MS Excel or similar data processing tools.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics.
- Working knowledge of ecommerce platforms operations & content platform experience (Lazada, Shopee, Tokopedia, Amazon, etc.).
- Ability to handle client discussions and manage client expectations on a day-to-day basis. The role would involve significant level of direct client connects, so the person is expected to have a good command on English and generally high degree of confidence managing interpersonal engagements.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and results focused.
- Experience in sales & marketing, managing channel sales (offline or online) would be a plus.
- Understanding of the sales & marketing functions in a Consumer Goods/Consumer durables or related industry sectors.
- Keen awareness and understanding of the latest relevant digital commerce and marketing trends and happenings.
- Hunger to learn on the go and upskill based on team and client requirements.
