Job Overview
Managing day-to-day activities of Finance and Accounting and assigned tasks including SBV reporting, management reporting, tax, etc
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) and have Chief Accountant Certificate.
- 2-5 years of experience in banking or financial services.
- Should be familiar with SBV’s regulations and reporting frameworks and Vietnam Accounting standards.
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Good communication skills in English and Vietnamese
Responsibilities
1. General Accounting:
- Maintain and manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and reconcile office/Nostro/Vostro accounts periodically as per internal/external guidelines.
2. Regulatory Compliance:
- Prepare financial reports according to Vietnamese regulations (VAS) for the purpose of various regulatory reporting as per the prevailing law.
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements to the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV).
- Support internal and external auditors in completing the various audits.
3. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual or any other periodic financial statements to be submitted to SBV/Head Office or any other authority from time to time.
4. Tax Management:
- Issuing VAT invoice daily using the available application.
- Working with Tax consultant for Calculating and file tax returns (VAT, CIT, PIT) in accordance with Vietnamese laws.
- Collaborate with relevant authorities for tax compliance and inspections.
5. Payable Accounts & Receivable:
- Monitor transactions with vendors and customers, ensuring timely payments after complying with all prerequisites.
6. Financial Systems & Tools:
- Support various commitments to external improvements and automation of financial operations from time to time.
