Job Description
We are looking for someone with a digital first mind set with the ability to design effective solutions that will display across a range of digital formats, especially responsive design. The Graphic designer are require to define requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos.
Primary Responsibilities Include and not limited to:
- Translating client needs and branding strategies into design strategies.
- Designing visual concepts and creative adaptations using graphic design tools including design software for client’s website and marketplace platforms.
- Selecting colours, fonts, photographs, layouts, and other design elements to communicate creative concepts.
- Collaborating with eKAM, marketing strategists and other stakeholders to create effective collateral.
- Amplify story telling with the use of infographics, data visualisation, photos, illustrations, etc.
- Ensuring that project progress/status is communicated to all relevant parties in a timely and consistent manner.
- Manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously and able to deliver ad-hoc request.
- Stay up to date with creative industry developments and tools.
Required skillset:
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Use tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator or similar software is an added advantage.
- Hands on experience with typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection and digital design.
- Incorporate feedbacks from the stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence to work independently or in a group
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in Ecommerce/digital commerce (mainly on Marketplace e.g. Shopee, Lazada, etc.) background
- The foresight to put themselves in the shoes of the user
Business Knowledge & Client Interaction:
- Understanding of the Ecommerce domain (Lazada, Shopee, D2C, etc.)
- Interacts with the stakeholders in a professional way.
- Can deal with last minute changes and issues and pressure situations
- Requires timely decision making at all times – most problem being resolved via own initiative and solutions or through reapplication of skills/ideas from others.
- Liaise and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure service results and developments are understood.
