Job Description
Responsibility:
- Fully accountable for product quality and factory delivery timelines.
- Manage quality control processes to prevent defects and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Implement and verify corrective actions for quality issues.
- Conduct daily inspections across production stages and perform random spot checks.
- Inspect materials, TOP UPPERs, and TOP SAMPLES for quality and color accuracy.
- Document and photograph non-conformities while maintaining detailed quality control reports.
- Regularly report using standardized formats and systems.
Requirements:
- General Requirement:
- Age: 30-55
- Bachelor‘s degree in Engineering, Quality Control, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in footwear quality control
- Have the skills, abilities, and qualities necessary to ensure the successful execution of the job descriptions mentioned above.
- English proficiency sufficient for professional communication, discussion, and reporting with colleagues and management.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in quality inspections following SATRA standards.
- Knowledge of footwear construction, material quality standards, and leather grading.
- Proficiency in bonding strength tests, stitch density assessment, and pattern verification.
- Experience with color assessment, spectrophotometer usage, and flex/stress testing.
- Inspection Responsibilities:
- Material Inspection: Ensure quality, color consistency, thickness, and durability of materials (e.g., R38 specifications).
- Production Inspection: Monitor cutting, stitching, bonding strength, sole alignment, and overall product consistency.
- Documentation:
- Familiarity with QIMA systems, R15 inspection reports, AQL standards, and digital documentation processes.
- Ability to track quality metrics and prepare detailed reports.
Working hours: from 8:30-17:30 (Mon - Fri) ; 8:30-12:30 (Sat)
Work place: District 2, Ho Chi Minh City
